Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is nuzzled in between the airport and museum in Sarasota and Oly minutes from the beach. We definitely enjoyed all the amenities and cleanliness of the property. I especially loved the pool and tranquil environment. The complimentary breakfast is both organized and delicious an absolute plus aside from the easy check in and out. Will definitely be returning!

Great place for relaxation. Each room has it's own patio with hammock, table and chairs. The amount of tropical flowers and trees transforms you to paradise. Two swimming pools, one for adults, one for general use. Big grill if you want to have a barbecue. Washer and dryer on property. We stayed 4 nights, hated to leave. The resort is hard to find, right off a busy street. Once you enter the drive way you forget the rest of the world

The hotel is located on the opposite side of the airport, which is quite convenient in relation to the Ringling Museum. Breakfast is not included in the stay and, frankly, it is expensive for the level of breakfast offered. The restaurant is mediocre, except maybe if you just want to have a beer in the evening.

There were numerous restaurants, places to see performances, art, beautiful parks, Ringling Museum, shopping, and beautiful beaches. We went to Siesta Key Beach and believe that it is the widest beach with soft beautiful sand, lifeguards, beach restaurant & bar, areas to have a picnic. We are both vegan and had dinner at Ka Papa Cuisine where the food was all handmade and exceptional. The "crab" cakes made of Lion's Mane with a special coating and sauce was wonderful. The "meatloaf", mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables with a special carrot sauce on the meatloaf & potatoes and sweet sauce on the vegetables were delicious. This was the best vegan restaurant we have found in Florida!

Spent the week for our son's graduation.
Spent the week for our son's graduation. We don't like the heat, but we spend wonderful time at the Asolo Theatre for the play 12 angry men and then I visited the gorgeous Selby Gardens. If you like smaller crowds, easier parking, I recommend Lido Beach vs Siesta. We had the best pastrami in decades at the newer Palm Avenue Deli downtown. Recommend no frills excellent service and food at the Maharaja Indian Cuisine off of University Parkway. Make excellent leftovers also. For vegan options, Green Zebra Cafe downtown. For special occasions The Reserve. And let's not forget the wonderful used book stores cafe Shelf Indulgence that makes great coffee and other drinks, delicious salads and sandwiches, airport/Ringling museum area.

We really enjoyed staying in this
Apartment.
We really enjoyed staying in this
Apartment. It had everything we needed
Only complaint was that beach umbrella had no way to secure it to the ground. No screw in to ground. 2 beach chairs were great. 3 others in closet were not usable. We loved the screened in balcony. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was great. We saved a lot making our own meals. Close to beach. Easy drive to beaches.
I wasn't expecting a sterile hotel. I pay a premium to not have that. For character and a timeless feel when participating in art shows in the Sarasota area, I always like to stay at The Reserve Retreat. I wasn't able to enjoy the breakfast. My problem. Business calls me to be out very early. I'm sure it was great. I did enjoy a steak dinner though! Enjoyed the courtyard entertainment and wine and especially the ability to pop up to my room now and then through the entertainment. The staff was exceptionally concerned and helpful.
I came to Sarasota to visit my daughter, who was at Ringling School of Art and Design. The place was 4 minutes from the airport and from the college. It was close to the beach and right next to a small Walmart, a CVS, and a Walgreens. The interior of the house was perfect. The beds were super comfy with different types of pillows for different people. The living area was large and cosy and the kitchen was easy to use. All around, a spectacular and easy three days.
A gem of a property in a great, quiet neighborhood. Host was great: easy arrival instructions and checked-in with us during our stay. Property is well kept and had 3 nice bedrooms, with 2 baths that have double sinks. Location is close to beaches and downtown, and access is easy as 2 main roads close by. Kitchen area has all you need for cooking and we were greeted with nice snacks! Will stay again on next Sarasota visit.
I was pleasantly surprised at the room. It had two separate rooms....a living room/kitchen area, a bedroom, plus a bathroom. Though not a full kitchen, it had a refrigerator, microwave, stove, set of dishes and silverware, pots and pans....all I needed to prepare meals. The room had two tv's, was very clean, and the facility had a pool. Though not a new, modern hotel, I felt it was a tremendous value for the price I paid.
The style and atmosphere were updated, fun, and classy. The rooms were very clean. Loved the fact that it's a completely smoke-free hotel and very pet friendly. The pool area was perfect with table seating and a rather large pool. Breakfast was perfect. The cereal display dispensers were very neat! We highly recommend this boutique style hotel. Even our kids loved everything about their stay.
I didn't expect the rooms to be so comfortable clean and like your own small apartment. The room we stood in had a king size bed and sofa bed in the living area. Kitchen was updated with a stove top microwave and average fridge (no mini). Bedroom was so comfy. To top it off the hotel is only 7 minutes away from Siesta Key beach and many local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is conveniently located right off I-95 and is near nice sightseeing areas throughout Sarasota. It has a nice pool with plenty of seating and the area was extremely clean. The room was immaculate and the beds were comfortable. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Overall, this property is well-maintained and exceeded my expectations.
The location of the hotel was less than a 5 min walk from Main Street and the Marina so if you want to see Sarasota and experience the boat tours etc this is an excellent choice of hotel.
Staff were very friendly, helpful, always had a smile and are a credit to the company.
Absolutely nothing to fault about the stay.
Sarasota is a great location, and this hotel is just a short walk away from St Armands Circle with all of it's great restaurants and shops. We had a beach view room which made the whole experience more enjoyable as you get a great sunset view bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was great. Loved the pool area and the tiki bar . And of course the beach. We loved the fact that it was not a very busy area/surroundings. It was more peaceful/pleasant. Hope the new hotel will provide the same.
Not recommended, it's a scam,a Hotel of $50 in Europe is much better. I expected something dissent since I payed $376,48. The silence of nature of Sarasota in very peaceful and beautiful beach sand.
Hotel & grounds were neat & clean, & well taken care of. The staff was friendly. Very nice breakfast. The location was good for what we needed. We will definitely return if we go back to that area.
The location was amazing - across the street from the beach access and walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. The pool area was also wonderful!!
Hotel has a cool design aesthetic and great pool area with nice extras like sauna , gym, smal bar, well-curated snacks/gifts ,meeting rooms and even a yoga room.
Pool area great hotel pretty… good selection breakfast great.. restaurant bakery etc next door wonderful.. idea if two sink rooms genius traveled with daughter…
Parking was right in front of the hotel room, beds were comfortable, bathroom was good sized, in a decent area close enough to a lot of things to do in town.
Nice house in a quiet area. Perfect as a base for exploring the city and surrounding areas of Sarasota. We liked the standard and style of the interior.
